Merry Christmas!

I'd like to start off this post by saying Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone reading this post!

Today is not an ordinary Christmas holiday for my family, because today is my grandmother's birthday! We started out the day with last minute errands, and we were lucky enough that some stores were open. We picked up some of her favorite foods to eat and surprised her with two birthday cakes (one traditional and one Vietnamese gelatin cake).  Here's a photo of my grandma and some delicious food we had below.

Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday Grandma!

Huntley Meadows Park

I took a much needed study break today and headed out to Huntley Meadows Park to catch the golden hour. I got to test out my new lens and adapter, the Sony 24-70mm f2.8 SSM and the Sony LA-EA3 adapter. I was stunned on how well the lens performed. The lens is sharp, versatile, and sun flare was reduced to a perfect amount in my opinion. As for the LA-EA3 adapter, the auto focus is slow and the adapter itself has connectivity issues. I will be upgrading to the LA-EA4 adapter, as it will fix all of the problems that I have with my current adapter. Nevertheless, It felt good getting behind the camera again, so here are some quick edits from the short time I was there.
