LOWHEARTZ
Last Sunday, I was invited to go and take photos of my friend (Kenny) drifting along with some of his buddies. To start out the day, I woke up early and drove to Kenny's house. Not long after I got there, we drove to his buddies place to meet up with some of the other drivers and soon enough, we were on the road. We drove about an hour away to a secret location and I was incredibly impressed by how big this spot was. It was a drifter's paradise.
Getting into the area was pretty sketchy, but well worth it for some fun. Seconds after the cars pulled into the location, the first tire was spun. It was time to have a full day of fun.
As the day went on, one car broke down, another "almost" broke down, and the rest were fine. Luckily, there weren't any accidents or crashes throughout the whole day.
By the end of the day, the drivers and their cars were worn out. Well, mostly the cars. I could tell that these guys wouldn't mind burning rubber till it was dark, but nevertheless, it was time to go. People were starving and the thought of going home was soothing. Hopefully, I can attend more drift events, on an actual track this time, in the near future and maybe have some more ride-alongs.
